I have presented Full on Food (reporting on everything from the birthplace of coffee to the rise of the organics business) and Kill It, Cook It, Eat It (about the role of meat in our diet). I am the supertaster that judges the food on ITV’s Taste The Nation. I’ve been a drinks columnist for the Independent, and a food columnist for The Guardian. I have been working as a consultant for Trudie Styler and Sting on the launch of their Lake House Organics range. So I know the food and drink business inside and out – after all these years, I should do.

I’m on the independent panel of food experts that decide on the RSPCA’s Good Business Awards. I have fronted a TV truth campaign about colourant used in farmed salmon, and hosted the Festive Good Food Show, the Real Food Show and the Taste of London, all of which involved huge cooking demos and live masterclasses with the world's finest chefs. I have presented all sorts of award ceremonies, from the Restaurateurs’ Restaurant of the Year Awards at Earl’s Court, to the Grocer’s Own Label Excellence Awards at the Savoy.
