Are you a street food trailblazer? Or an OG? Then welcome to the world’s biggest street food competition. Founded 17 years ago. Apply to compete at one of our four UK heats – open to the public – where there will be a people’s vote AND a judges’ vote, plus wild cards for the traders our judges think deserve them. Winners will then go through to the British finals in September – where 15 Awards are up for grabs – and the European finals in September. So block out your calendar!

A British Street Food Award genuinely changes lives. Wingmans, big winners at the BSFA and the ESFA in 2017, recently opened up their second ‘proper’ restaurant. MEATliquor, who won at the Awards back in 2009 – now have nine of the things. Bao have five. An Award opens doors. This year the BSFA champions will be going to compete in the grand final of the 2026 European Street Food Awards in Germany. And (maybe) get to join the European team to take on America. BSFA winners go places. Literally.
