The Final Countdown!

The British Street Food Awards have found an exciting new home at Food St market in West London, on September 28, when they’re hosting the first ever WestFest. The inaugural festival promises to be a bold celebration of West London’s distilling and craft brewing scene PLUS cutting-edge BSFA street food AND vibes. It’s a vibrant gathering that promises to redraw the foodie map of the capital by moving the final of the British Street Food Awards supported by Freemans Event Partners from East to West London for the first time in its 15 year history. To guarantee entry – and your vote – register here. Nice!

Eat Drink Vote – that’s the order of the day at WestFest. All summer long, all over the UK, the public have been voting for the best street food traders at the regional heats of the British Street Food Awards. Now, the winners are heading to the finals in Chiswick to try and win YOUR VOTE to become the People’s Choice and represent the UK at the finals of the European Street Food Awards in Munich October 10-12. So come hungry.

Festival goers will wash down the very best street food in the UK with special, small-batch beers brewed just a few postcodes away – at Perivale Brewery, Jawbone Brewery in Twickenham and Tiny Vessel in Hampton. With a buzzing atmosphere that captures the creative spirit of the West, Sipsmith gin and Fullers beers fresh from The Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, WestFest champions a West London bursting with taste, talent, and innovation.

On site to choose the Champion will be our prestigious judging panel, including Greg Wellman (head chef at the Michelin-starred La Trompette), Gaetano Farucci (head chef at the Michelin-starred Caractere) and (hopefully) Michele Pascarella (head chef at Napoli On The Road, twice named Europe’s best pizza). The judges will announce all the British Street Food Awards’ winners at the end of the inaugural WestFest. In the late summer sunshine. Get involved.
