A Future Food Legend?

So much new talent at the final of the 2022 British Street Food Awards. One of the few positives of Covid – the shake-up/shake-down in hospitality that has forced brilliant young (and old) chefs into street food. And they’re pushing our business forward faster. At the BSFA we’ve always championed that talent – ever since the first ever British Street Food Awards back in 2010, when street food was a summer job but not much else. Nowadays it’s different. The growth in delivery, dark kitchens, retail, meal-kits and food halls (did you see the winners of our new Best Food Hall category?) has offered a world of opportunity to traders looking to build and diversify their business. So, when Sessions – the founder-led food brand – wanted to sponsor our Future Food Legend award, with an amazing package of support for one new talent, we jumped at the chance. The Awards gave Sessions an inside look at the very best that’s out there. And, between us, we came up with a Top Five, and they taste tested them all at the finals of the 2022 British Street Food Awards. See the Five here. And the winner? Mr Murray’s Scotch Eggs.
