Blooming Great Tea Party

It was a chance to help out. And street food traders like to do that. The Blooming Great Tea Party is Marie Curie’s summer fundraising campaign, encouraging people across the UK to sign up to host a tea party. Every donation made from a Blooming Great Tea Party will help Marie Curie Nurses care for more people living with a terminal illness across the UK. And they needed some refreshment. So we recommended two of our favourite traders — The Cake Doctor and Bessie The Caravan — to bake a blinder at London’s wonderful Park Club. Mel from the Great British Bake Off was there to get stuck in, and seemed impressed with Karen’s sponge (of course) and James’ new range of vegan cakes. Natch.
