A Vision Of Loveliness

Told you. Look what a bit of imagination can do. This was the place a few days ago. Now, four unused London railway arches, owned by Network Rail, have been transformed into a winter wonderland — with a 1959 Leyland Tiger Cub selling craft beer. Which makes it a REAL winter wonderland by my book. The market, which is open between 11am-9pm – 10pm on Friday and Saturday – will offer guests blankets, mulled wine and Baileys hot chocolate to fight off the cold, with live music fromThe Indian Electric Company, and Monty Swan, a duo who have played Glastonbury for the last two years. You’ll be able to choose dishes from more than 20 street food traders, including winter warming hotpots, paella, pulled pork, wood fire pizza, gluten free menus and smoked meats, all packaged in ethically-sourced, bio-degradable packaging. Tom Montgomery-Swan, director of TASTE Street Food, the company behind the event, said: “This area has never seen street food presented in this type of setting like this before and we are incredibly excited about bringing this event to the people for free.”
