Wow — what a start to the Eats From The Street Roadshow. The sun shone, and Glasgow Fort found a real appetite for street food. Nusou, the Mighty Mexican, Zoete Koek, the Fat Hippo and Breaking Bread put on a real spread, with Zoete Koek having to nip home for eggs and flour to mix up some more waffle batter. That, plus the street food bingo, the vibe master sound system, and the comfortably-upholstered double decker bus (to sit on while the showers came and went) made for a fun, family weekend. The team have now packed up the specially-designed street food village, and are heading for Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh next weekend. With a top speed of 35mph, the double decker bus should just about make it in time….
