See what happens when you win the British Street Food Awards? Things get weird. Katie and Kim, after a successful stint opening Trinity Kitchen at the end of 2013, are popping up at the Beatroot Cafe in Bristol this weekend. Hopefully, Kim will leave her accordion at home. Expect a menu of duck hearts, fennel and blood orange, beetroot and goat’s curd soup, plaice, butter and lemon, mushroom, pernod and tarragon papillote, caramel apples and homemade ice cream and seville and almond tart.
