Street Food is Growing Up

In the Spring of 2013 nearly 450 people were ill after a ‘street food’ event in Newcastle. Turns out it wasn’t the street food that was responsible. But as a reaction to the hysteria, NCASS (the health and safety guardians of the street food industry) have come out fighting. One of their new initiatives is to partner up with Kerb, the London street food collective, who will now be able to offer their traders access to NCASS training.
