We’re Back!

NEWS: The 2023 Scottish Street Food Awards are BACK. In Edinburgh, on 22-23 July. We’ll announce the location soon, but applications are open HERE. Make sure to mark it on your calendar.

What a year 2022 was for Scottish street food, with Junk and Kochchi blazing their way to glory at the British Street Food Awards grand finals in London. Check it out here. Junk went on to cook on Saturday Kitchen AND win the European Street Food Awards AND open a new place (with walls and a door and everything) in Edinburgh. But what about 2023?

It’s all going off. The Pitt (home to the Scottish Street Food Awards since forever) are moving to new premises, Edinburgh Street Food and Bonnie and Wild are doing the business indoors, while the Neighbourhood Market are keeping it real outdoors. Glasgow have got the Big Feed and Platform PLUS Dockyard Social who came VERY close to winning our 2022 Award for Best Food Hall. The Highland Food And Drink Trail gets better every year, with lots of good things coming out of Aberdeen, Dundee and beyond. But they rely on new, exciting street food talent. So let’s find the best that’s out there – for the 2023 Scottish Street Food Awards.
