It’s Christmaaaas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. In Manchester at least. We fell in love with the city after collaborating with GRUB on the finals of the 2017 British Street Food Awards — right opposite Piccadilly. Now we’re back. In Spinningfields Manchester. Check this out. Every Thursday to Sunday night, until Christmas, our favourite British Street Food traders will be parking up next to Bar Hütte – a cosy ski lodge and bar right in the middle of the city. There will be festive favourite Carol-oke Hüttes, Disco Hüttes and individual Alpine-themed Hüttes, all catered for by a rotating roster of our street food specialists. We’ll have Carrie-Ann (a vintage caravan offering up retro inspired shakes and bakes from Shakes, Batter & Roll). And Henri, the vintage J9, serving up authentic German Bratwurst with all the traditional German condiments – including a home-made sauerkraut with beer. ArtiSam will be there, serving arancini risotto balls with their help-yourself sauces – from a converted horse box. And Diamond dogs, for an authentic, no-nonsense Northern sausage. They’re made with natural casings, and only the choicest cuts of Cheshire fed pork, slowly smoked over English fruit wood. DD use artisan bakers to create light and airy bread rolls with a proper crust — all you need to do is decide whether to cover your dog in a rich slow braised chilli, homemade Old Amsterdam nacho sauce or DD’s own BBQ mustard sauce. I wish it could be Christmas every day!
